Meadow of Daisies

Whenever I travel to destinations writing and taking photographs are my favorite ways of creating memories to look back on.  These are some pictures of the favorite places I visited, I love sharing pictures and places to give people an idea of what Hawaii looks like and to give myself a log of where I went as a way to remember it.

Travelling is one of my favorite experiences in life. I have found that the experiences I have gained through traveling, being emerged in different cultures, and exploring different parts of the world always sparks my imagination. Every trip fuels my wanderlust and I want to travel more and more, to new and old places.

I am fortunate enough to already have been able to travel to different parts of the world,, make memories and friends with people all over the world.  However there are still so many places that I want to travel to, this is my top five; 🌍

Fiji

Fiji just looks absolutely beautiful with its clear blue waters, beautiful mountains, palm tree-lined beaches, and coral reefs in beautiful lagoons. It has been somewhere that I always wanted to visit and experience.

Rio de Janeiro
I have always wanted to travel to South America. To experience such a different culture to what I am used to and would be an amazing thing to experience first hand. Rio de Janeiro looks like an amazing city and would be a brilliant experience to visit.

Thailand

Thailand is a City filled with, culture and history. It radiates a golden hue, from its glittering temples and tropical beaches. Thai food is also one of my favourite foods so I would love to experience it in Thai culture and see how different it is to home.

Salem and New Orleans

Maybe it's just my love of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, but ever since watching the show I have always said that I wanted to experience Salem and New Orleans. I am fascinated by the Salem witch trials and would love to experience the history and culture of both Cities.

Salem

New Orleans

Norway

Seeing the Northern lights has always been a dream of mine to have it happen as a natural phenomenon absolutely amazes me. Norway encompasses mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. Whenever I see photographs of Norway it always looks amazing and absolutely beautiful.

What are on your bucket list of destinations to travel to?!

The Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the World.

I knew that the Grand Canyon would be an amazing site to see but nothing really prepares you for it in the flesh. It's simply amazing and no photograph you ever see of it compares.

I went on a tour of the Grand Canyon, through a company called Canyon Tours. It was an amazing experience, that I would definitely recommend. I went on the flying tour, which although it was more expensive than the bus tour, we spent an hour flying to get there when it would have taken 4 hours in a coach.

We went on the 6.00am morning, so we were picked up from our hotel at around 4.55, by a lovely driver who took us to the Airport where the planes took off from. We were in the air at 6.00 and had arrived in the Grand Canyon by 7.00. We went on a coach for around half an hour to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

I would throughly recommend the Grand Canyon, It was a truly breathtaking experience and was absolutely amazing to be able to see - would throughly recommend.

Traveling and being able to experience different cultures is something that I will never grow tired of. There is nothing better than wandering around cobbled streets camera in hand disconnected from the internet and without a care in the world.

Each country, city, or town is different in its own unique way. They all thrive in such different corners of the world. I would quite happily spend all of my money traveling around the world rather than spend money on materialistic items as for me there is nothing more valuable than memories. As long as I have a camera with me, to capture photos so I can always look back on images with that sense of nostalgia and longing is what makes me crave travel more and more.

Everywhere that I travel is a new adventure, a new story, and new memory… there is not one Country where I have visited that I could compare to another as they are all so different and beautiful in so many different ways, even if I visit the same destination over and over. Memories that I have made through traveling will stay with me forever and will always be great stories to tell to others to share my stories.

I am also a strong believer in traveling being the greatest education you can receive. It the way I have been brought up and a belief that I now share with my parents. I think traveling has made me a richer person in so many ways. It has shown me so many different ways of life and has shown me some of the harsh conditions that people are living in, making me appreciate the little things in life even more.

Through traveling I have also met some amazing people. I have friends in literally all four corners of the world and through talking to locals in the places I visit it allows you to gain a great understanding of different ways of living.

What places to travel are on your bucket list?

I absolutely love Vancouver and I think it may possibly be one of my favorite cities EVER!

Going on Holiday we stopped in Vancouver on the way back from holiday and we only got to spend 48 hours in my favorite city, so I am going to share where we stayed and what we got up to on our holiday.

What we did

Fly-Over Canada
If you're into Disney, then you will have probably been on the Soarin' ride. Then the FlyOver Canada is something that you absolutely have to do!

"FlyOver Canada utilizes state-of-the-art technology to reveal some of Canada’s most awe-inspiring sights as you have never seen them before."

You hang suspended with feet dangling, in front of a 20-metre spherical screen where a film takes you on an 8-minute journey across Canada, from East to West. There are also special effects including wind, mist, and scents, to make the ride seem more real than ever.
I would thoroughly recommend getting online for a time slot as this means that you will be let straight in and you can keep your tickets on your phone and it speeds up the whole process - and it is cheaper. Tickets are rather expensive but totally worth it!

Adults $27.00 (At the gate) $22.95 (Online). Students get a discount $21.00 (At the gate) and $17.85 (Online).

Find out more on their website - here

Cycling around Stanley Park
If ever in Vancouver this is definitely something that I would recommend, there is a specifically designed cycle path, to travel around and it is around a 3-mile cycle. It takes in some beautiful sights of Vancouver especially the sea which was really pretty and you could also see the cruise ships sailing in and out.

Stanley Park is situated at the northwestern edge of downtown Vancouver, it is one of Vancouver's main tourist destinations. The park haslots of lovely beaches, miles of well-maintained paved and dirt trails.
It was Vancouver's first park, with ever-blooming gardens, pristine coastal areas and roughly 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees, Stanley Park have continued to live up to its "greenspace" designation for almost 130 years. For these reasons and more, this tranquil oasis is the perfect city escape.

Sea Plane Tour
Possibly one of my favorite things we did in Vancouver. We went on the Vancouver Classic Panorama. Which is the most popular tour of the city taking in the City and North Shore Mountains. The seaplanes depart from downtown Vancouver’s Coal Harbour and include a complete aerial view of the city and surrounding parks and beaches.

The ticket priceof $125.00 (taxes included), included complimentary hot drinks when you arrive at the terminal and also include a free pastry. The flight is a 20-minute tour, which really takes in all of the sights, which are truly beautiful. I think the best bit was taking off and landing on the water.

Visit Granville Island
An easy way to get to on the bus which a return ticket costs around $3. An absolutely amazing place with an amazing array of farmers markets all selling handmade fresh goods! If I lived in Vancouver I would go to Granville island purely for the markets every week, Iwish there was something like it in the U.K. if anyone knows somewhere please let me know. There are also some beautiful restaurants and spectacular views of Vancouver.

*Does this cupcake not look amazing, bought from the markets!!*
